There is no other piece of news in the webzine this week that could touch the excitement of this:
The book of 25 Years of Lip Service is underway! We're chronicling the first 25 years of Lip Service and want YOU in it! We want your best photos, your coolest stories, eveything that will help us tell the story of some fashion freaks making hot clothes for fellow fashion freaks. What do you have for us? Hit us up and add yourself to the history of Lip Service!

This week, we also have a new offering from our favorite gore whore, Nos, with some awesome photos shot by the always-incredible Wicked Illusions. Miss your dose of horror, gore, blood, zombies this Halloween? You're not alone!

We also visit with Mickey Finn, talking about Fashion + Music + Life while he gets ready to go north and share the bill (with glamrock legends Jetboy) with Alice Cooper. You can enjoy more Mickey and Jetboy on their MySpace page, Jetboy Rocks.

And, if you didn't know already, Kynt and Vyxsin were in to model some of the hottest gear in our Spring 2010 collection. If you want to see them looking awesome and get a killer preview of what you'll be rocking next year, we have video for you!

If you follow my journals about what we're up at the webzine (*sigh* thanks!) you will have noticed that I was a very naughty webmistress last week and didn't get a chanceto fill you all in on the highlights. So, I'll add a few cool things from last week I think you'll dig.

Vanity Kills was as badass as ever, sharing the tricks and tips to achieve her Lethal Style. This time out, she's a covert assassin with a geisha edge plotting her Exit Ritual. Check out her steps to style and enjoy some seriously amazing photos of her hot self in a vinyl kimono ending it all in a beautiful watery grave.

On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans, Kevin and the guys of Prima Donna continued their European tour with Green Day and we have some awesome photos and even a video. We're so excited to have our kickass guys from Hollywood playing the big arenas with their signature funky rock sound. Keep your eyes on the 'zine in the next few days, because we'll have Kevin's stories and photos from their trip through Amsterdam ... and you know that will rock!

Last, not least (because it's ME), I've compiled a killer guide through the alternatives to the average pin-up. With Halloween coming up, it's nice to have a few cool ideas of how to stand out from the squadrons of sexy (insert whatever one can be in a micro-mini or bodysuit here). Not that we don't dig the regular sort of sexy, because it is ... well ... fucking sexy. But I also know some of you girls out there have a bit more edge in your sexy and wanted to gve you all a big, sexy shout and blow a wet cyber kiss your way. Gore, zombies, sexy robots, blood-drenched killer bitches??? I've got 'em for you.

By the way, keep an eye out for Lip SerVICES next time ... We've got a zombie pin-up guerilla shoot here in Hollyweird of our own coming up and I'm going to share all the behind the scenes mischief and the secrets to creating your own zombie pin-up!

Until then ...

It's another killer week of cool treats in the Lip Service Webzine! We've got a strange and wonderful mix of funky goodness working so check it out!

First, I would be remiss if I didn't scream from the rooftops ... THE WAREHOUSE SALE IS ON!!! Yep, that's right ... a huge collection of samples, classics, farics, you name it ... all at ridiculously low prices. Check out the announcement for more details and mark your calendars, October 17 & 18 (that's next weekend!). Get there early and grab your goodies before the other Lippy Addicts clear the racks.

A shout to all you Fangoria freaks ... We've started a new regular Blacklist column for our favorite gore whore, Nos. Who can resist wanting more fabulously sexy, nasty horror?!

In this week's debut of The Devil Inside, Nos teams up with Chad Cherry of The Last Vegas to talk werewolves. And because we have the coolest fucking writers, we also have a special guest to give a it more insight into lycanthropy (as well some behind-the scenes photos from Howling II), über hot Werewolf Queen Stirba herself, SYBIL DANNING! There's a kick-ass gallery of sexy photos of werewolf Nos (transformation by Wicked Illusions), a collection of great werewolf movie poster art, and a few scary beasts to get your heart beating just a little faster.

We have another debut this week! Prima Donna are hitting the road touring with Green Day through Europe and we'll be taking you along for the wild ride. They're a bit like if juke-joint rock-n-roll, old school punk, and classic glam had a three-way love child with a smoking hot sound. Check them out and meet Kevin Preston, their singer/guitarist, in On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans.

Last week, you got to meet grammy award-winning rock violinist Alyson Montez. This week, you get to hang out ... from a killer show of funky 80's with Ankesenamen to strange adventures at the animal rescue and then some. Check out a week in Alyson's life in our special edition of On the Road with Lip Service.

Oh yeah. I was so busy I almost forgot ... You wanna see Angelina Jolie in a pair of classic Lip Service Patent Vinyl pants, the shiny, slinkiness hugging every curve? Well, we've got that too! With the 25th year of Lip Service right around the corner, we'll be taking random looks back at the most killer moments along the way. Think of them as fashion freak flashbacks. This week, it's Angie rocking the Lippy in Korn's Did My Time video.

Check back with us at the 'zine next week:

- Prima Donna will share their road stories

- Vanity Kills will end it all with impeccable Lip Service style

- And I'll take you onto a porn set during an indie guerilla-style shoot

It should be pretty fucking sweet!

Until then ...

Wow! There is almost too much stuff to pack into one synopsis this week!

Many of you saw the Michael Jackson tribute by Janet at the MTV Video Music Awards, but did you know we were there too? Check out the hot, slinky vinyl ... yeah, that's us. Kinda cool, huh?

On the not-quite-legendary (yet) side of the pop scale, we also found a few photos we had almost forgotten were in our files. Check out über-cute glam/goth rock darling of American Idol, Adam Lambert, rocking a pair of Psycho Circus III jeans. Oh my ...

Speaking of legendary, we were also to be found this week on rock mock-legends Spinal Tap. Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) was rocking the Lippy on the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien (David St. Hubbens/Micheal McKean and Nigel Tufnel/Christopher Guest were sporting Kill City jeans, too, by the way), while Nigel Tufnel did the classic Stonehenge in some Stretch Fuck'n jeans.

We have a winner of the Week in Your Life blogging contest! And, DAMN, is she a winner! Not only is Alyson Montez a Grammy award-winning violinist, her band recently opened for George Clinton and P-Funk at the Nokia. And that's not all ... she's interesting and drop-dead funny, too. I think we're going to like following her around for a week as she guests for our On the Road feature.

Make sure to check out the 'zine on Wednesday, October 7th, for Alyson Montez On the Road with Lip Service!

Speaking of killer musicians On the Road, this week Lip Service hits the road with UK's The Zico Chain. Apparently, their lead singer Chris was busy this week, so his Lip Service jeans wrote the On the Road column for him. Wasn't that nice of him? On a more serious note ... Got to say, if you dig hard-driving music and haven't checked out The Zico Chain, you should. They fucking rock!

Oh, and that's not all ... we still have MORE! We have the glorious excess and cheeztasticness of PULP! Yes, that's right, two features celebrating the devilishly decadent world of pulp fiction in all its glory.

First, we have Vanity Kills, telling the tale of Rachel, a dame with a different set of morals and a make-up case. When she mixes business with pleasure it is one dangerous game, but she plays it with lethal style. And, speaking of Lethal Style, because it is part of Vanity Kills' series of step-by-step style, she also gives you everything you need to make this killer look work for you.

Finally, we have ME (hooray for me!) with a celebration of pulp novel cover art in Lip SerVICES. I found some hard-boiled dicks, juvenile deliquents, dangerous dames, babes in trouble, dope fiends, and various swinging types for your eye-candy this week. Make sure to follow the links to the immense collections I was barely able to scratch the surface of in our galleries.

*whew* Okay, that's the webzine this week. Hope you dig it. Check in with us next week when Nos will return with Chad Cherry of The Last Vegas to talk horror and gore, Alyson will let us follow her around, and we'll introduce Prima Donna, our next On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans artists as they set off to tour with Green Day!

See you then!

We have added to our disturbed, little web family this week. In the On the Road column, you'll meet Nos (Jessie Seitz) a gore afficianado and indie horror movie producer who has a fresh, new column in the webzine, The Devil Inside. We'll be launching her new column, with some help from Chad from the band The Last Vegas, October 7, but wanted you to have a chance to get to know each other first.

So, our primary feature of the week is a week in the life of a gore model and producer. Welcome to Nos! Check out the amazing sample photos from her shoot with Wicked Illusions, too, while you're there.

Also, this week, we got so busy, we hadn't had a chance to spotlight our editorial in Auxiliary Magazine. Auxiliary photographers Jennifer and Luke do wonderful things with our clothes, don't they? Make sure you click the link to download so you can check out the full issue. We also have a link to a fun article from the Eugene Weekly, which we rather liked. It's always fun to see someone new get into some Lippy gear for the first time.

Also in the Spellbinders Horror section, we have the conclusion of JA Fredrick's horrific western tale of being buried alive. I read it back in the day when it was first written ... It's seriously not for the faint of heart, but awesome reading. If you love horror that creeps up on you and effects you for days after, you're going to love Billy the Corpse.

Next week, we'll have some serious shit ... More Lethal Style from Vanity Kills, the winner of our Week in the Life blog contest, and a week On the Road in the UK with Zico Chain.

And don't forget, today (Friday 9/25) is your last day to get your blog entry in for the chance to get a $40 Lip Service credit and your own Blacklist "On the Road" column for a week. Tell us why a week in your life should be immortalized in the Lip Service Webzine and you may very well get the fame, adulation, and (most importantly) free goodies you deserve.

Until next week, then!

As we get ready to open pre-orders for Holiday 2009, we're also polishing up the Lip Service Webzine and putting together some kick-ass people to come out and play! And we're giving you a chance to not only join our lineup, but get free Lip Service gear, too!

This week, we're back On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans at the Sunset Strip Music Festival with Rachael Rine of Cockpit. She hangs with some other killer rockers like Mickey Finn of Jetboy, Dave "The Snake" Sabo, the guys from Dirty Penny, and checks out Ozzy's set with thousands of other Hollywood rockers before hitting the Viper Room bathroom for a one-of-a-kind slideshow.

Vanity Kills explores her pathologically murderous side with Cellar Heat in Lethal Style. Read her new feature story to get to know the sexy serial killer next door and continue down to the photos to get her hot step-by-step style tips, too.

I got to come out and play this week as well. In the ongoing "Get to Know a Degenerate" series in Lip SerVICES, we talk with the stand-up comics who make up the voices behind JKRZ, Jokerz Internet Radio. We've got a bit of stand-up from Jim Fredrick, Richy Lala, Kevin McLeman, and Matt Z, along with some interesting answers to our questions about the strange and often dysfunctional world of stand-up comedy.

Last, but definitely not least, we have ... well, YOU! We have an open slot in our On the Road feature diary for the October 7 editon of the webzine and we want you to tell us about a week in YOUR life. Not only will you get the fame and adulation you richly deserve, but $40 in Lip Service webstore credit to get some free gear on us! To have a shot at Lippy infamy, just check out the contest details and register at the webzine to submit a blog telling us why we should give you your own Blacklist On the Road diary feature by September 25. We'll email the fabulous soul we select and announce them to the Lippy world on September 30.

See you next week!

This week, we have some kick-ass sexy treats, eye candy, cool video, music, buzz, and even a frick'n manifesto!

First up, we have an awesome video interview of sexcam diva JJ Bonde. We at the 'zine were pretty curious about the people who do some of the more interesting and smutty jobs out there. Who are they? What are they really like? What's it like to do stuff most of us would never dream of doing once, much less as a career? So, being the inquiring sort of folks we are, we hooked ourselves up with one of them and asked a whole mess of questions.

JJ gave us way more than we ever expected. She was completely up-front with us and set absolutely no limits of where we could go or what she'd talk about. So you get a real, honest-to-naughtiness look into what it's really like to have cyber-sex for a living.

We also got our hot, little hands on a Rock Sound Magazine interview with Lacuna Coil, where they answer fans' questions. It also includes some killer pics of Cristina rocking some Rockshow, which of course makes us all kinds of stoked. And the coolest thing is, with the group now discounted, it's easier to get your hands on some, too.

We're also ready to go back On the Road With Stretch Fuck'n Jeans! This time out, we'll be hanging with Standby Records band Modern Day Escape while they tour to support their much-anticipated full-length album, House of Rats. This week, we've put up some video, some audio, some info, so you can get a chance to meet them before they start giving us the low-down on what they're up to next week.

Nos is also back this week, giving us her Gore Manifesto. I've got to say, we fucking love this chick! How can you not just adore somebody so badass? She's also popped up a few choice and gory photos of her, shot by artist Chad Michael Ward, another person we absolutely adore.

Check in with us next Wednesday for Modern Day Escape's first week On the Road, a new kiler cyber his and hers step-by-step style by Vanity Kills in Lethal Style, Part 2 of James Allen Fredrick's western gothic horror tale, Billy the Corpse, and ... hell ... who knows what other sweet shit we'll come up with between now and then!

In the meanwhile ... happy viewing, listening, and reading!

Hey everyone!

I know some of you are all pissy that school is starting back up again. Sorry about that whole having-to-wake-up-early thing. Somebody ought to do something about shifting that start time to a more civilized hour ... seriously! Well, I can't do much about that but I can give you a few things to take your head to a happier place, anyway. We've got some killer new stuff in the 'zine this week to distract, inform, and amuse.

First, we have a new zombified installment of Lethal Style. Vanity Kills introduces Kommandante Kyla, leader of Division LS, as she takes on mutant fashion zombie canibals in style. She gives you the breakdown of Kyla's killer zombie-killin' look, along with detailed intructions of achieving her awesome falls and make-up.

A new horror writer makes his debut in Spellbinders Horror this week. James Allen Fredrick, author of the novel A Cross to Bare, gives us the 3 part story Billy the Corpse, a delicious slice of Western Gothic Horror. I won't give too many details, but if you wonder what it might like to be buried alive, this is definitely the story for you.

In the Fashion Freaks section, we feature a showcase of the photography of Saida Inkeri Jäntti. Check out her diverse work, which ranges from nature and abandoned buildings to artful symbolism and sleek fashion glamour. She was also kind enough to write us an in-depth letter about her method and creative process, which is an interesting peek into the mind and thoughts of a talented emerging artist finding her muse.

Last, but not least, we have a few photos of Dirty Diana from Germany who has a kick-ass tattoo of the Lippy dagger. This makes us wonder, are there more of you who wear your Lip Service in unexpected and unusual places. Have a Lippy tattoo? Cool computer skin? Something even more fun? Shoot us some photos so we can show everyone your Lippy!

Well, that's the lot for this week. Hope the school thing doesn't ding your soul too much. And, remember, only a few months until winter break!

Next week ... we'll have a kick-ass video interview of hot sexcam diva JJ Bonde in Lip SerVICES!!!

This was a fun webzine week. I must say, I'm loving getting to explore vices with all you fellow degenerates out there. This time out, Lip SerVICES is all about where to get your 7 Deadlies on in the cyber. This edition also has the last stop of Jillian's Gothic Charm School book tour. Nos gives great advice on how to give your hair the faded dyed look. And in On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans, Philip from Steadlur says his last good-byes.

AND DON'T FORGET THAT WE'RE HAVING A VIDEO CONTEST. GIVE US YOUR BEST MINUTE AND WE'LL SHOW IT TO EVERYONE.

For the next VICES (Wed. Sept. 2), and OH I can't WAIT, we'll get to find out what the world of professional cyber sex is really like, with our exclusive video interview with webcam treat JJ Bonde.

See you next week!

There are a lot of great new Blacklist articles in the 'zine this Lip Service week. Vanity Kills breaks down Jardin Noir style step-by-step in Lethal Style. Phil Steadlur is still On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans, this week raising hell (imagine that!) and a killer beer bong. Jillian spends her last week on the Gothic Charm School book tour going Lolita at Innocente Seraphim. Then there is the Third and final installment of Awake, for those of you who like a bit of dark romance with a bite, in Spellbinders.

And we still have cool new shit to chek out in Fashion Freaks, too! First we have a NEW CONTEST, this time for short video! We also have Aniline, your favorite Friday Fashion Freak, who will be getting a $25 Lip Service credit for her killer photo. And, last but definitely not least, we have a killer (literally) treat from GoreWhore Nos, who in True (Fake) Blood, tells you how to mix up your own pot of fabulously believable red, red kroovy!

Happy reading everyone!

Lots of great stuff in the 'zine this week!

Jillian's Gothic Charm School book tour goes to Powell's in Portland, with a whirlwind stop home in Seattle.

Philip is On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans at Arcadia Beach, as you can see, being his always reserved self.

We introduce a new music writer this week, as Ed Chambers has a bit of fun with "crabcore" in Blogenstein.

I (your not-so humble WebMistress) even get in on the action with some kinky sex, writing our sex column.

And make sure to VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE JULY FRIDAY FASHION FREAK WINNER!

Also, wheeeee! I wrote the sex column this week and it's all kinky and stuff. What fun that was! Let me know what you think of it, too, if you feel inclined.

Have you had a chance to check out all the kick-ass new features and columns in the Lip Service Webzine this week? We have an old friend returning to the 'zine this Wednesday, Vanity Kills is BACK with Lethal Style, a guide to getting a killer look. This week, Vanity takes you inside the Fetish Aristocracy, with lots of information and photos to let you get in touch with your inner Duchess of Dandyette.

Philip Steadlur is On the Road with Stetch Fuck'n Jeans, taking us a bar-hopping day through Portland. Also on the road, is Jillian Venters, The Lady of the Manners, taking her Gothic Charm School book tour to the crowded and creatively strange floors and signing tables of San Diego Comic-Con.

For your romantic side, we have part 2 of Awake, darkly romantic fiction, in Spellbinders. And, you know we wouldn't leave out the naughty bits! This week, Sex Love & Rock 'n Roll Therapy does Threesomes! If you have a question you'd like Moushumi to answer in her column next week, just shoot us an email at the webzine

We put together one hell of a lot of cool stuff to see and read this week!

First, we have an introduction of our newest feature, On the Road with Stretch Fuck'n Jeans, which will feature a new rocker or rebel every month rocking their Lip Service jeans while they travel, tour, get into whatever else may come. This is a double dose of new, since we are also introducing our first victim ... *erm* ... featured writer On the Road, Philip Steadlur (of kick-ass band Steadlur). Philip is a seriously interesting dude and, might we say, a little prone to mayhem (we f'n love that!). Check out On the Road's first installment to meet Philip and Steadlur's new video, Bumpin'.

Jillian Venters, the web's Lady of the Manners, is off and underway in her diary of book tour events for Gothic Charm School. This week, read about and see the photographic evidence of her adventures in NYC. Join Jillian next week as she takes on the freaky fun that is San Diego Comic-Con.

Moushumi Motor Wilson, our rocking sex therapist, is talking dirty this week. Have a question, problem, or have a suggestion of a sexy topic of conversation? Email the 'zine editor.

We also have some choice photos of writer R. H. Stavis (a powerhouse writer of TV, movies, dark fiction, games, you name it), responsible for creating the back-story of Tomb Raider heroine Lara Croft and debuting the first print version of Spartacus: Blood and Sand at San Diego Comic-Con before the upcoming Starz TV series. R. H. needed some bad-ass gear for her appearances, interviews, and exclusive parties while at SDCC, so spent the day at Lippy HQ getting hooked up.

And, hell, that's just fetaures by the Blacklist, our regular writers! We're serving up way more cool stuff for, by, and about all the kick-ass Fashion Freaks, too.

Take a look at the smoking hot Fashion Freak Friday photos we selected as the best of July (kudos to Yvonne Danger and Aniline!) and find out how you can win Lip Service webstore credit for doing what you all do best, rocking Lip Service gear!

This month, we shine our spotlight on Wayne Simmons, author of Drop Dead Gorgeous. Think we'll be fascinated by what you're up to and want to share it with everyone? Let us know by submitting some info about yourself through the webzine or email the 'zine editor.

We also have a movie review of indie Brittish comedy "12 in a Box" by Blacklist writer, Cherie. The 'zine will publish new reviews every other week so, if you have something you'd like to tell everyone about, submit your review to the 'zine. Reviews can be about just about anything. We want to hear about movies you've seen, bands you've heard, places you love (or hate), and ... well ... whatever! Make sure you get a snap of you in your Lip Service gear, too.

Dont forget to vote in our poll, Which Three Lip Service Stylegroups Would You Bring Back? It's new & improved ... now with actual voting!

Last, but certainly not least, we have a detailed guide of how to post to the 'zine. We know everyone is not the WordPress vets our editor is, so want to give you the heads up on how it all works. And, before you post, don't forget to check out the SUBMISSION GUIDELINES.

*** Coming next week in the 'zine: Fetish Aristocrat style by Vanity Kills, the second, juicier, part of Spellbinder Fiction story, Awake, more SEX, Jillian at Comic-Con, Philip from Steadlur Rocking his Stretch Fuck'n Jeans, and more kick-ass Fashion Freak goodness ... See you then!! ***
